Problem

Problem

When Kavita, CHRO at UB, was redesigning the office at the iconic Kingfisher Tower in Bangalore, she wanted more than simple white walls. She saw them as an opportunity to talk to teams, lighten up the place, and capture the culture and behaviours the organisation embodies.

Soluiton

Solution

We started with site visits to understand how people moved around the walls and interacted with them. The shortlisted walls were assigned themes based on which teams sat where. We outlined constraints, dimensions, and colour themes before creating moodboards for each wall. The largest wall captured the organisation’s culture and behaviour, while other walls explored the products and the reception tagline. Designs were made digitally, then printed and installed on the respective walls.

Impact

Impact

Walls are some of the biggest real-estate assets in an office, yet they are often not used to their full potential. UB flipped this by refusing to let cultural communication stay in emails. The walls were loved by the people, and two years later, when UB added a new office space, they came back for adaptations of the murals. We also created mural assets for partner clubs and pubs across Bangalore, along with custom visual journey sketchnotes celebrating career milestones and promotions.
