Scope
Scope
Synchrony’s entire customer base sits across the globe in the US. To bring that distance closer, Synchrony India set up an experience centre at its Hyderabad office, filled with videos, case studies and VR experiences that show the people building Synchrony how their work lands with real consumers: the impact it creates and the value it delivers. The goal was simple: understand the consumer better, and build with more clarity and alignment.
Right beside the experience centre stood a large, empty wall on the path to the innovation station, waiting to tell a story. That’s where we came in.

Solution
Solution
We explored two frameworks for the wall.
We took a left-to-right approach with Innovation sitting at the bottom left corner, fuelling everything else. Customer experience took the centre stage with business solutions around it in a circular arrangement. While we managed to fit everything, something about the story did not work for us. It felt too layered and not very easy to connect to. It failed our purpose. We looked harder and redesigned this.
We gave the innovation hub, values and how they worked the centre stage. The teams and business verticals were rearranged to hold the solutions. So, 2 arched hands held up the solutions the teams built. The remaining spaces covered the office locations, experience centre visuals and One Synchrony. This felt cohesive, easy to navigate and allowed us with more room to play with colours.
We finally had our design ready to be painted across the 21ft wide wall.
Impact
Impact
With the clients help, we setup a projector, drew the outline and started painting. It took us 3 full days to finish the painting work and this is what out client said about the finished work:
"The idea behind creating this wall was to bring the Synchrony story to life in a way that feels visual, engaging, and easy to connect with. We wanted the artwork to represent our platforms, innovation, values, people, and global presence all coming together as one Synchrony.
Having it in the Experience Center has added a lot of character and energy to the space. Rather than being just another corporate wall, it has become a visual storytelling piece that catches people’s attention, sparks curiosity and conversations, and helps employees and visitors connect with Synchrony in a more creative way." - Hemanth, Synchrony
