Problem
Problem
Pidilite was in the middle of an organisational transformation and needed honest, forward-looking input from channel partners: HVAC distributors and waterproofing applicators. Without structure, these conversations could drift toward pricing and credit notes, crowding out meaningful discussion of growth and alignment. The brief became one reframing question: How might we create a more engaging and strategically aligned offsite experience for Pidilite and its partners?

We designed the room itself: boards, stations, pacing, and the permissions people needed to speak freely. A Pictionary-style visual warm-up built comfort with putting ideas on paper. The Un-bonded List and Parking Lot named off-limits topics openly while giving those concerns a home outside the main conversation. The Altitude Chart let partners choose whether to focus on day-to-day issues or longer-term strategy. At the Sailboat Station, small groups worked through timed prompts — Underwater, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow — creating a clear arc from grievance to ambition.
Impact
Impact
Initial hesitation about a visual format dissolved once structure and psychological safety were in place. Conversations moved past pricing into growth, alignment, and future direction, and the room’s energy shifted from guarded to genuinely collaborative. The format lowered the barrier to participation, made boundaries feel like safety rather than suppression, surfaced what direct questioning would have missed, and turned a room of stakeholders into collaborators. Across two days, partners went further and faster into real strategic territory than a standard offsite conversation typically allows.
