CareStack wanted to move beyond a conventional internal annual event and create something that would engage their employees. They needed an experience with a personal, human touch that made each employee feel individually seen and celebrated. The challenge was also to find a moment that could capture the essence of the entire event.

Solution
We designed a Live Portrait Studio where a team of artists drew personalized portraits of employees onto the front page of a pocket diary, paired with a word reflecting their unique energy. An artist sat within the auditorium, live sketch-noting the entire event from award ceremonies to dance performances into one cohesive visual narrative. Together, these two activations brought creativity, personalization, and storytelling to the heart of the event.

The Live Portrait Studio created an intimate, one-on-one moment for every employee, making them feel personally seen and celebrated at a company-wide event. Employees were visibly excited, forming queues at the booth throughout the event, and the joy on their faces when they saw their portrait come to life was truly priceless. The pocket diary became a lasting, functional keepsake that carried the memory of the day well beyond the event. The Live Sketch Note captured the collective energy of the room, transforming award moments and performances into one stunning visual story. Together, both activations left a lasting impression as genuine moments of human connection in this era of AI.
